INDUSTRY DAY

Industry Day represents an incredible networking opportunity for Italian and Canadian film excellences

BUILDING BRIDGES

The ICFF works and strives to share and promote Italian cinema, culture and tradition across Canada. ICFF goes beyond the screening and festival experience, offering each year exciting events that connect Italy and Canada and create new opportunities for dialogue and exchange between the two countries. Among them, Industry Day is a hub for filmmakers and industry professionals to connect, share ideas and experiences, inspire each other and gain insight leading to fruitful collaborations and co-productions. Industry Day is a fundamental piece in the Festival mandate and is one of the most important events in the calendar for professionals and experts in the field. For years the Italian audiovisual industry has captured the attention of Canadian film buffs, that look at Italy and its film industry as a privileged point of contact. Industry Day represents an incredible networking opportunity for Italian and Canadian film excellences, directors and producers, creating a place for them to network and formulate new projects. Films born by these co-productions are then supported by ICFF and presented at the Festival, creating a successful cycle that allows the collaboration between the countries to strengthen and deepen over time.
