Stanley Tucci. Academy Award®-nominated Stanley Tucci is known for his versatility as an actor, writer, director and producer. He has appeared in over 100 films, countless television shows, and more than a dozen plays on and off Broadway. Starring alongside Ralph Fiennes, John Lithgow and Isabella Rossellini, Tucci can be seen in the Oscar®-nominated film “Conclave,” a conspiracy thriller directed by Edward Berger and based on the novel of the same name by Robert Harris. It tells the story of the secrets and drama hidden behind the death of the Pope. The film premiered at the 51st Telluride Film Festival on Aug. 30, 2024, and was released in the U.S. in October 2024. In addition, he was recently seen in “Citadel,” an action-packed spy TV mini-series starring opposite Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas. Upcoming, Tucci can be seen in the new Russo brothers’ film “The Electric State,” a film based on an adaptation of the illustrated novel by Simon Stålenhag and set in a retro-futuristic past, where an orphaned teenager traverses the American West with a sweet but mysterious robot and an eccentric drifter in search of her younger brother. Additionally, Tucci is set to return to Italy's enchanting regions in the highly anticipated National Geographic series “Heart of Italy,” where he'll continue exploring the country's rich tapestry of culture and cuisine. His new book, “What I Ate in One Year,” which recently came out on Oct. 15, 2024, is a New York Times bestseller. The book records 12 months of eating in restaurants, kitchens, film sets, press junkets, at home and abroad with friends, family and strangers and occasionally just by himself. This is his fourth book behind his family-focused cookbook “The Tucci Table: Cooking with Family and Friends” and his other New York Times bestsellers “The Tucci Cookbook” and “Taste: My Life Through Food,” an intimate and charming memoir of life in and out of the kitchen. Acclaimed for his work in all mediums, Tucci was nominated for an Academy Award, Golden Globe Award®, BAFTA Award and SAG Award, and he received a Broadcast Film Critics nomination for his performance in Peter Jackson’s “The Lovely Bones.” He also won an Emmy® and Golden Globe for his starring role as the fast-talking tabloid tattler Walter Winchell in the Paul Mazursky-directed TV movie “Winchell.” He received another Golden Globe for his brilliant portrayal of Lt. Col. Adolf Eichmann in HBO’s “Conspiracy.” With so many accolades for his performances on the screen, it is no surprise that his work as a writer, producer and director is also widely celebrated. “Big Night,” Stanley Tucci’s first pursuit as co-director, co-screenwriter and actor on the same film, earned him numerous honors, including The Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award at the 1996 Sundance Film Festival, a Recognition of Excellence by the National Board of Review, an Independent Spirit Award, The Critics’ Prize at the 1996 Deauville Film Festival, and honors from The New York Film Critics and The Boston Society of Film Critics.
