PLOT : Deep within rural Oklahoma, charismatic and musically gifted Amziah King herds a bluegrass-playing band of misfits while overseeing the premier honey-making operation in town. When his estranged foster daughter Kateri unexpectedly returns after the loss of her mother, Amziah aims to renew their connection and build a family business. He mentors Kateri and welcomes her into a warm community, but when Amziah's rivals threaten to destroy everything he has built, Kateri takes matters into her own hands, embarking on a series of increasingly dangerous heists and schemes to protect the people she has come to love.

Andrew Patterson. An American filmmaker from Oklahoma and the founder of GED Media. Beginning as a high school projectionist, he later produced commercials and shorts in Oklahoma City. Patterson financed and co-wrote his debut feature, The Vast of Night (2019), a sci-fi thriller that won the Slamdance Audience Award. His second feature, The Rivals of Amziah King (2025), starring Matthew McConaughey and Kurt Russell, follows an Oklahoma honey-maker who reunites with his estranged foster daughter amid rising conflict with dangerous rivals.
