The American Dream

The American Dream

Le rêve américain
Directed by: Anthony Marciano

The agents who changed the game.
French w/ Eng. Subs.

PLOT : Jérémy and Bouna come from entirely different worlds than the one they dream of entering. Starting with little more than determination and ambition, the two outsiders set their sights on the highly competitive world of professional basketball representation. With no roadmap, industry experience, or obvious path forward, they rely on instinct, persistence, and an unconventional people-first approach as they carve out a place for themselves. Navigating unexpected challenges and learning on the fly, they pursue opportunities others might never dare chase, proving that resilience and belief can take you further than anyone expects in the pursuit of an unlikely dream.

Anthony Marciano. Anthony Marciano is a French director and screenwriter known for blending humour with emotionally grounded storytelling. He gained widespread attention with Les Gamins (2013), a comedy co-written with Max Boublil that became a major box-office success in France. He later wrote and directed Play (2019), a nostalgic coming-of-age story told through the lens of a boy’s video camera. Most recently, Marciano wrote and directed La rêve américain (2026), ...inspired by the true story of two unlikely outsiders entering the competitive world of NBA agents.
