Kazutaka Watanabe. 
is a Japanese filmmaker, producer, and director known for his innovative approach to filmmaking. In 2014, he founded the film production company E.x.N K.K. Watanabe began his career by producing feature films and, since 2017, has contributed to the Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival as a coordinator for the Rough Cut program, mentoring emerging filmmakers. He has gained recognition for his directing work, including Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan (2020) and Rohan at the Louvre (2023). Most recently, Watanabe directed Showtime 7 (2025), a remake of the 2013 film Terror Live.
