PLOT : After witnessing a violent murder, jazz pianist Marcus Daly becomes determined to find the killer. Teaming up with a curious reporter, he begins investigating the crime, uncovering clues that point to a tangled web of secrets. As Marcus delves deeper, he discovers that the murder is connected to a series of mysterious events and hidden truths involving several people around him. The investigation leads him through increasingly dangerous territory as he tries to piece together the puzzle behind the brutal crime. With each discovery, Marcus gets closer to revealing the identity of the murderer, navigating twists and red herrings in a quest to bring justice to the victims.

Dario Argento. born in Rome in 1940, is a legendary Italian filmmaker known for shaping the giallo and horror genres. His 1975 film Profondo Rosso (Deep Red) is regarded as a masterpiece and a defining work in his career. The film’s intricate plot, stylish visuals, and innovative murder sequences elevated Argento’s status internationally and influenced countless filmmakers. Before Profondo Rosso, Argento made his directorial debut with The Bird with the Crystal Plumage (1970), but it was this film that solidified his reputation. Known for blending mystery and horror with striking cinematography and suspenseful storytelling, Argento remains a seminal figure in Italian cinema and a key innovator in thriller filmmaking.
