This is just one example of the many initiatives ICFF organizes to build cultural and creative bridges between Italy and Canada. As part of this ongoing mission, we are proud to have conducted a comprehensive study on the subject, madepossible thanks to the generous support of Ontario Creates and the Canadian Media Producers Association.

The study, titled Navigating Borders: An Analysis of Canada-Italy Film Co-Productions, was developed over the course of two years, beginning in 2023. The report delves into the legal and financial complexities of co-production agreements between Canada and Italy, and highlights best practices for aligning partners’ interests to ensure mutual success.
