
Peter Meister
As a scholarship holder of the Munich Screenplay Workshop, Peter Meister leveraged the opportunity afforded to him by writing, directing and producing Das Schwarze Quadrat, his first-ever feature length film. In 2018, the film was awarded a Tankred-Dorst Award for Best Screenplay. His directorial career began with the film Parkplatz Liebe (Parking Love)which received the Award of Excellence at the Canadian International Film Festival in 2013. In 2015, Peter opened his own production company Kabakon Film & Medien. His short film Es war feucht, dunkel und roch nach Holz(It was Damp, Dark and Smelled Like Wood)won audience awards at both the Festival Filmz in Mainz and the Moonlight Short Film Festival in 2016.
