Michael Herbig

Michael Herbig is a German director, writer, comedian and producer who was
born on April 29, 1968, in Munich. In 1992, Herbig's career began with radio appearances on various television shows including Langeman und die Morgencrew and Die Bayern Cops. He was a part of Bully Parade (1997) as a producer, author, actor and director, which aired for five seasons. In 2000, he made his feature film directorial debut with his comedy, Erkan & Stefan. In the same year, Herbig launched “herbX”, a film production company and produced projects including Der Schuh des Manitu (2001) and (T)Raumschiff Surprise- Period 1 (2004).
