
Matteo Rovere
Matteo Rovere, né en 1982, a fait ses débuts de réalisateur de longs métrages à un très jeune âge, après avoir réalisé plusieurs courts métrages, dont le très primé Homo Homini Lupus avec Filippo Timi. Il a produit plusieurs films pour Ascent Film, dont Smetto quando voglio, The Pills - Sempre meglio che lavorare, La foresta di ghiaccio, ainsi que de nombreux courts métrages et documentaires, dont Ritratto di mio padre de Maria Sole Tognazzi.

Matteo Rovere was born in Rome in 1982 and has had an illustrious career for someone so young. His first ever film Homo Homini Lupus won him the Nastro d'Argento for Best Short Film, in 2007. His 2014 production I Can Quit Whenever I Want earned 5 million euros at the box office, achieved 12 nominations for the David di Donatello and 5 Nastro d’Argento nominations. He won the Nastro d’Argento award for Best Producer. Several of his other films have been nominated for David di Donatello and Nastro d’Argento awards.
