Chelo Loureiro

Chelo Loureiro is a producer and director born in 1958 in Galicia, Spain and is the founder of Abano Producións, and has produced award-winning shorts such as Carne, by Camila Kater, and Homomaquia, by David Fidalgo, and has participated in the production of Decorado, by Alberto Vázquez. At present, she is working on two animated feature films: Unicorn Wars, by Alberto Vázquez, and Sultana’s Dream, by the former director of Animac and one of the great Spanish filmmakers, Isabel Herguera. Recently, she has made her debut as a director with the feature film Valentina.
