Septet: The Story of Hong Kong brings together seven iconic filmmakers (Ann Hui, Sammo Kam-Bo Hung, Ringo Lam, Patrick Tam, Jonnie To, Hark Tsui and Woo-Ping Yuen) to tell a decades-spanning narrative about their native city. Originally conceived by Jonnie To as an anthology of short films, each filmmaker presents a fictional story inspired by their childhood memories — showcasing an ever-changing Hong Kong.
