Davide Cavuti
Biography:
Davide Cavuti, is a cinema and theater composer for directors such as Michele Placido, Lino Guanciale, Giorgio Pasotti, Ugo Pagliai, Edoardo Leo, Marco Bocci, Giorgio Albertazzi, Arnoldo Foà and Pasquale Squitieri. He has worked with Ennio Morricone, Luis Enriquez Bacalov, and Nicola Piovani, and he received Carlo Savina Award for film music. In 2019, he received Award of Excellence for his direction of film Lectura Ovidii. He created and directed the biopic A Martian Named Ennio, based on the biography of Ennio Flaiano, which premiered at Venice International Film Festival, winning the World Italian Cinema Day Award and Flaiano Award.
