Asil Moussa
Biography:
Asil Moussa is a writer, actor, and filmmaker. She graduated with a Bachelors in English Literature, Creative Writing and Digital Journalism, and received a Certificate of Film Studies. Asil has worked on numerous films, including THE TIGER HUNTER and THE QUICK AND DIRTY. Asil’s debut short film, THE CARD, screened at festivals worldwide, was broadcasted on CBC’s show, Absolutely Canadian, and was praised as a semi-finalist for CBC’s competition show, Short Film Face Off. Asil won the Windsor Endowment for the Arts Emerging Artists Grant, which said that she “tackles big issues with simplistic, impactful storytelling”.
