Paolo Genovese
Paolo Genovese began his career in filmmaking through writing and directing commercials for advertising agencies. Genovese directed his first film in 2002 with Luca Miniero titled, Neapolitan Spell, followed by a TV series, Nati Ieri (2006), and another film, Viaggio in Italia - Una favola vera (2007), also directed with Miniero. Genovese went on to direct many films throughout the years including The Immature (2011), The Santa Claus Gang (2010) Una famiglia perfetta (2012), Perfect Strangers (2016), and The Place (2017). Genovese was also part of the Official Jury for the 75th edition of the Venice Film Festival in 2018.
