PLOT : Set against the sunny Italian coast in the late 1980s, Il Maestro takes you on a journey exploring the bond between a mentor and his protégé. Felice (Tiziano Menichelli) lives under the weight of his father’s rigid expectations, training relentlessly to become a tennis champion. His life takes an unexpected turn when he is entrusted to Raul Gatti (Pierfrancesco Favino), a charismatic former champion haunted by his own past. As they travel from tournament to tournament, their road trip evolves into an exploration of freedom, failure, and the true meaning of success. This film offers a nostalgic and emotional look at the "Commmedia all’italiana" spirit, reminding us that the most important lessons in life often happen unexpectedly.
