PLOT : When Philippe, a once-celebrated opera composer struggling to find inspiration, is suddenly tasked with caring for his eccentric teenage niece Simone after the death of her grandmother, his orderly world is turned upside down. Simone, rebellious and imaginative, arrives with little more than her sharp wit—and her pet skunk, her inseparable companion. As Philippe tries to balance composing his long-awaited comeback opera with his new role as guardian, the unlikely pair clash at every turn. Yet through their differences, they begin to uncover a shared sense of loss, creativity, and longing for connection. In the harmony between chaos and melody, they might just find the music they’ve both been searching for.
