PLOT : Leo is a blue-collar worker with a musical past living in the remote city of Acarigua, nestled in the Venezuelan inland empire. Haunted by financial debt and problems at home, he does anything to stay afloat. One day, his younger brother Alex, who has been deaf since birth, offers him a solution: Participate in a musical contest in the capital, Caracas, performing a song that he has written himself to win a grand prize. Forced by circumstances, Leo must take a leap of faith, unearth his dormant musical talent and do the impossible to change his and his brother’s future by joining their voices in an unforgettable journey.
Miguel Ángel Ferrer. Miguel Ángel Ferrer, born in Caracas, Venezuela, is a Venezuelan filmmaker based in Los Angeles, California. He began his career as a cameraman for National Geographic and a post-production supervisor for Warner Bros. His feature film "The Shadow of the Sun" (2023) premiered at the Chinese theatre in Hollywood, California, under the LALIFF Film Festival, the largest Latin American film festival in the country. Later, Ferrer made his national premiere in Venezuela at the Venezuelan Film Festival in Mérida, where it won 5 awards, including the Press award for Best Feature Film.
