Vadim Perelman

In Kiev, Ukrainian SSR, Vadim Perelman was born in 1963. He is a filmmaker and producer best known for the films Persian Lessons (2020), House of Sand and Fog (2003), and The Life Before Her Eyes (2007). At age 16, Vadim began studying English. In House of Sand and Fog (2003), which received two Oscar nominations, he was the director of Ben Kingsley and Shohreh Aghdashloo. Vadim dropped out of school in his second year of film studies at Ryerson University in Toronto.
