
Tunde Kelani
Tunde Kelani is a renowned Nigerian filmmaker whose career spans nearly four decades. His work focuses primarily on the rich cultural heritage of Nigeria, highlighting the Yoruba culture and traditions that he grew up around. As a teenager Kelani worked as a photography apprentice before training at Western Nigeria Television (WNTV); in the 1970s he attended the London [International] Film School. In 1991 he established his own production company, Mainframe Films and Television Productions, with which he has produced several film adaptations of famous Nigerian novels.
