Andrea Magnani

Andrea Magnani is a feature and documentary film screenwriter and director, known for his work with major Italian production companies like Cattleya, Rodeo Drive, Albatross and Tao Due. His 2002 film La Lunga Corsa(The Lung Run) won the Solinas Award for Best Screenplay and was selected for the 1st Berlinale Talent Campus award in 2003. Un Viaggio facile facile(Easy) is his latest film, for which he won a David di Donatello Award for Best New Director. The film itself has won several awards including Best Film at Festival del Cinema di Spello and the Audience Award for Best Screenplay at the Lighthouse International Film Festival.
