Francesco Catarinolo

Francesco Catarinolo is an Italian director, writer, and visual effects supervisor. Catarinolo has years of experience in the audiovisual industry, first beginning his career in advertising. Unfulfilled with his career choice, Catarinolo moved to the filmmaking industry and since then has directed countless commercial shoots for companies such as Tic Tac, Oreo, and Decathlon. His first film as director was in 2013, a short animated film titled Frank Einstein. His most successful film La casa rossa (2021) has won him three awards at the Trento Film Festival in the categories of the Audience Award, the Cassa Rurale di Trento Solidarity Award, and the Lizard Award.
