PLOT : What is it like to be a single father to a teenage daughter?
Widower and philosophy professor Paolo has a great relationship with his only child Simone. Now in her teens, however, Simone seems to suddenly prefer the company of her phone to that of her father. Especially when it comes to her favorite social media personality, influencer Ele-O-Nora, who inspires the girl to follow in her footsteps. In an effort to dissuade her, Paolo starts vlogging about social media addiction helped by the very same Simone, who acts as his web manager. Little does he know he will become an influencer himself, soon discovering that social media, when handled with caution, can give you a real chance.
Michela Andreozzi. Born in Rome, Michela Andreozzi is a well-known Italian actress, comedian, screenwriter, and director. She kicked off her career by acting in different TV shows and Italian TV series and made her cinema debut with Basilicata Coast to Coast by Rocco Papaleo. Following her initial acting success, Andreozzi began her screenwriting career by working alongside renowned Italian names, and in 2017 she wrote and directed her first film Nove lune e mezza. In 2019, she directed her second film, Brave ragazze and in 2020 she was the director of Genitori vs influencer. The following year, Andreozzi landed on Netflix with a series co-directed with Bindu De Stoppani, Guida astrologica per cuori infranti.
