PLOT : 'The Well' follows the journey of Lisa Grey, a young and talented art restorer. When offered a rare opportunity to travel to the picturesque Italian village of Sambucci, she eagerly accepts the challenge of restoring a medieval painting damaged by fire. Alongside her journey, she crosses paths with two American biologists and their Italian guide, sharing a similar destination. Little does Lisa realize that her seemingly ordinary assignment will unravel into a dangerous adventure. As she delves deeper into her restoration work, she encounters malevolent curses and mythical creatures spawned from ancient tales of agony and despair. Thrusting into a world of danger and intrigue, Lisa must navigate the treacherous waters of myth and reality to uncover the truth and safeguard her existence.
Federico Zampaglione . Born in 1968 in Rome, Federico Zampaglione is an Italian singer-songwriter, director, and screenwriter. In 2006, he made his debut in the world of cinema as a director, making his first feature film entitled 'Nero Bifamiliare,' which premiered at the Chinese Theater in Los Angeles and was released in theatres on March 16, 2007. He participated in the Sanremo Festival with his band Tiromancino the same year. In past years, Zampaglione has directed numerous other feature films, including 'Morrison' (2021) and, most recently, 'The Well' (2023). He continues to show himself as a multi-talented person in many fields of the entertainment and arts industry.
