Director Paolo Santolini was born in Cesena, Emilia-Romagna, Italy. With an impressive career spanning several decades, Paolo has left a mark on the world of cinema as a director, cinematographer, and writer. Santolini has worked on numerous projects; some of his best-known titles include the war victim documentary Domani Torno a Casa / Back Home Tomorrow” (2008), the political satire Viva Zapatero!” (2005), and, most recently, the documentary about famed cyclist Marco Pantani: Il Migliore: Marco Pantani / The Natural: Marco Pantani” (2021).
