PLOT : Hank - a seductive mattress store owner - takes a vast assortment of prescription drugs for his mental health issues. When his new girlfriend invites him on a business retreat, upon arrival, he is horrified to learn that he has forgotten his medication at home. Now unable to control his symptoms, Hank transforms into an erratic loudmouth - putting his newfound relationship in jeopardy.
Diego Kaplan. Diego Kaplan is a writer, director and producer best known for Desire (2017) and Igualita a Mí (2010). As with his previous romantic comedy 2+2, Kaplan revisits the genre in this Mexican-American coproduction. With My Boyfriend’s Meds, he shares his first screenplay credit with screenwriter Gary Marks (The Music Never Stopped, 2011).
