DIRECTOR. César Zelada is a Peruvian filmmaker and producer whose work focuses on animation and culturally resonant storytelling. He co‑founded the production company Tunche Films and later established EPIC, Peru’s first film and animation school. Zelada produced Ainbo: Spirit of the Amazon (2021) and directed Kayara (2025). His films often highlight indigenous cultures, environmental themes, and marginalized voices. With a production and animation background that spans multiple countries, Zelada has earned recognition across the Latin‑American and global animation industries.
