PLOT : This film follows the tale of an old man and his niece as they ride their bikes through the many places lived in and visited by renowned American writer Ernest Hemingway. Tracing back through time to WWI the old man leads his niece on a tour of the historical memory of the Veneto Region of Italy. What unfolds is a fascinating journey of discovery as the audience visits the monuments, museums, ruins, Palladian villas, countryside, rivers, lakes, and mountains Hemingway loved.
Sebastiano Rizzo. is a director and actor. After studying acting, Rizzo’s career began in the theatre, where he made his debut in 1999 with Fonopoli: Words in Movement by L. De Feo. In 2011, he made his directorial debut with Il Paradiso can WAIT, the first theatrical show for the deaf. His close collaboration with Draka Production began in 2012, directing the short film La Riccotta e il Caffè, for which he received the “Best Direction” Award at the 2013 Tropea Film Festival. In the meantime, he continues to recite, performing in major works such as: Gli Organi by G. Lelo, in the context of “Le Verghiane” an important theatre festival in Catania.
