PLOT : Rachel is a teenage girl who has spent her entire life isolated in a house deep in the woods. Her family follows a mysterious cult, and Rachel's education has been strictly based on their principles. After her father, Philip, passes away, Rachel's mother, Carol, becomes more oppressive and forces Rachel to live with her father's corpse. Rachel is forbidden from any contact with the outside world, except for occasional trips into the woods for esoteric rituals in the hopes of reviving her father's lifeless body. Within the confines of their home, Carol rules with an iron fist, enforcing strict rules and routines. However, as word of Philip's disappearance spreads outside, suspicion arises.
