PLOT : "Cuckoo" follows the journey of 17-year-old Gretchen. She moves with her father and his new family to a resort in the German Alps, initially finding the surroundings peaceful and perfect. However, her world is turned upside down when she starts experiencing strange noises and visions of a frightening woman, particularly concerning her mute half-sister Alma. Driven by her curiosity, Gretchen embarks on a quest to uncover the truth, leading her to some dark secrets about her family. As she delves deeper, she uncovers a horrifying truth that implicates her family, and the atmosphere around her grows increasingly tense and ominous, making her realize that danger lurks behind the facade of paradise.

Tilman Singer. Tilman Singer, born in 1988 in Leipzig, Germany, is a talented director, writer, and producer. With a passion for filmmaking, he has directed several short films, commercials, and music videos, including his 2016 work "El Fin Del Mundo." In 2018, Singer debuted as a feature film director with "Luz," his thesis project. The film was a tribute to the 1980s European horror scene and was a huge success, earning accolades at numerous film festivals, such as the Berlin International Film Festival, Fantasia Film Festival, and Toronto After Dark Film Festival. After six years, Singer has returned with his latest horror masterpiece, "Cuckoo," which has premiered to widespread acclaim at various festivals.
