Biography:
Deanna Cadette is a Canadian media entertainment executive, dedicated to leading workforce development and industry transformation through strategic partnerships, evidence-based initiatives, and a focus on outcomes. Currently with Warner Bros. Discovery, Deanna serves as talent and industry advisor for WBD Access Canada which designs career pathways for creators, craftspersons and technicians from historically underrepresented communities.Prior industry roles incl: director of the former Writers Guild of Canada (WGC)/ Bell Media Diverse Screenwriters Program; cultural policy analyst with the WGC, project lead with CBC’s Engagement and Inclusion unit, and camera assistant with the Cinematographers Guild (IATSE 677).
