TORONTO – The ICFF and Lavazza IncluCity Festival invite filmmakers to submit their entries for the 2024 International Feature Film Selection and Italian Short Film Selection.
FESTIVAL DATES: June 27th to July 21st, 2025
LOCATIONS: Toronto, Vaughan, Montreal, and online via our digital platform.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: April 7th, 2025. Late Submission deadline: May 4th, 2025.

Renowned as one of the most important multi-disciplinary festivals in Canada, ICFF is a driving force in the film industry. It showcases the best of newly released Italian cinema alongside engaging shorts and panel discussions. ICFF leverages the power of the moving image to entertain, educate, and inspire, and has played a pivotal role in fostering successful co-productions and bridging cinematic connections between Italy and North America.
LAVAZZA INCLUCITY FESTIVAL
As a prominent program of ICFF, the Lavazza IncluCity Festival focuses on celebrating diversity and inclusion through film. This festival highlights multiculturalism in cinema by showcasing stories that resonate with diverse audiences and celebrating the cultural contribution of each picture. Held in the vibrant setting of Toronto’s Distillery District, it transforms the outdoor space into an immersive cinematic experience, offering audiences an engaging platform to explore world cinema.
We welcome submissions in the following categories:
– International Feature Films
– International & Italian Short Films
AWARDS
– INTERNATIONAL FEATURE FILMS:
– People’s Choice Award: Chosen by the audience, announced on the festival’s closing day.
– Critics’ Award: Selected by a jury from the Toronto Film Critics Association.
– SHORT FILM:
– Best Short Film Award: A jury of prominent Canadian artists will select the winner, who will be awarded a prize of $1000.
Submission policies:
– Platform: Exclusively through ICFF’s official Film Freeway (https://filmfreeway.com/ICFF). Films submitted through channels other than the official ICFF Film Freeway page will NOT be considered.
– Length Requirements:
– Feature Films: Minimum 80 minutes.
– Short Films: Maximum 12 minutes.
