PLOT : Longing for a brighter future, two Senegalese teenagers embark on an arduous journey from West Africa to Italy. Dreams of opportunity and prosperity fuel their quest for a better life. Yet, the path they must travel is fraught with peril and uncertainty. Between their aspirations and reality lies a labyrinth of daunting obstacles: the scorching and unforgiving expanse of the Sahara Desert and the treacherous, vast waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Matteo Garrone. 
Born in Rome, Matteo Garrone is a renowned Italian writer and director known for his unique cinematic vision.
