PLOT : "La Strada" follows Gelsomina, a waif sold by her mother to Zampano, a travelling strongman, for a pittance and some food. Enduring Zampano's abuse, she assists him in his shows until they join a circus. Here, Gelsomina meets The Fool, a tightrope walker who challenges her perspective on life. Unlike Zampano, The Fool treats her kindly, inspiring her to question her loyalty. As tensions mount, Gelsomina must choose between the oppressive familiarity of Zampano's control and the uncertain freedom offered by The Fool. Through themes of power and liberation, "La Strada'' explores Gelsomina's journey towards self-discovery amidst the harsh realities of life on the road.
