After these unprecedented and sudden changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we must look forward with a different gaze and approach.
The panel discussion, The Future of Public Screenings will focus on the following key points and queries: what will the evolution of the cinema experience look like? These past years, we have seen re-innovated formats of public screenings, such as the drive-ins and open-air theatres, flourish and become the prime occasions to enjoy cinema together. Will they become a mainstay in the entertainment industry, or will they leave space for something new? What are some innovations cinemas worldwide are considering to relaunch their halls?
