PLOT : Deep in a remote corner of Papua New Guinea, a ten-year-old boy named Sereva guides us through the discovery of an enchanted world. Amidst immense trees and mysterious sounds, nature and ancient village traditions merge in a profound harmony that feels suspended in time. The narrative follows a young dreamer who longs to build his first fishing canoe, even though tradition dictates that this sacred art is reserved strictly for older men. Through this curious and determined gaze, the film explores an intimate and universal journey regarding the importance of cultural memory, the deep connection with the natural world, and the courage required to pursue one's dreams.
