Lucio Pellegrini. Lucio Pellegrini is a renowned Italian director and screenwriter. He studied Philosophy at the University of Turin, where he began to cultivate his passion for cinema in video stores. From 1992 to 1998, he worked as a television writer, collaborating with MTV, Rai, and Mediaset, where he distinguished himself as the author of several successful programs. His debut in cinema came in 1999 with the film ‘E allora Mambo’, which got him a nomination for a Silver Ribbon for Best Director at the Italian National Syndicate of Film Journalists. In 2010, he directed the box-office hit ‘Figli delle stelle’; in recent years, he directed the much-acclaimed 2024 series ‘Marconi. The Man Who Connected the World’.
